How much time will it take to do the Workshop?
The Workshop is broken into 4 core lessons that take about 2 hours to consume in total.
If you follow the system that is set out, within 7 days you will have found all your photos, decided where to store them, consolidated them in one place, and set up a simple filing system. Sorting your photos depends on how many photos you have. Some people get 100,000 photos sorted in a week, others take longer. Feel free to work at your own pace and implement when you can.
How long do I have access to the course materials?
Your access to the materials in the Workshop never expires. You will be able to go back and refer to the videos and written content at any time.
How can I get help?
There are three ways to get help: 1) Join the Student Facebook Group and post your question. 2) Attend one of the monthly Student Only Photo Organising Q&A Zoom calls 3) Book a One on One Get Unstuck Call with Allison. Access to support is for 3 months and can be renewed.
Is the Workshop taught live?
No. All the content is written or recorded videos. There are two live calls per month for questions but they do not teach new content. There is not a live class on the start date.
Will this work for me?
The Memory Curator Workshop teaches the basics of organising your digital photos on a PC or a Mac with what you have - no extra software is required. The simple steps taught in this Workshop have worked for over 800 students to date. You do have to implement what is taught. Your photos won't organise themselves!
Does this Workshop require software?
If you want to use software to speed up your workflow, I make recommendations for software programs in the Workshop. However you can absolutely organise your photos without software.
